  Ashit Mehta No in such a large fragment, buttresing is must. Fracture was oblique with large dustal fragment. U cant label this as med mall. Fracture.

  U have utilised all d hardwares which can be used in such fractures..
  And ur method is fruitful for the patient..
  As u said this is not a medial malleolus # rather it's a chunk piece of distal tibia.. needed to be fixed in the similar manner as u did..
